Selena-Gomez-Slow-Down

Selena recorded this Dubstep-influenced track to remind herself how important it is to live in the moment. "It's basically just about having this moment and not having to rush it, because I don't know how many times I've been like, 'I just want to be married and over this,' but this is what we're supposed to be enjoying," she revealed to MTV News.

Selena was inspired by EDM artist Skrillex to record "baby dubstep" for her Stars Dance album. She told MTV News: "I love to dance and I love to make people dance. It's the best feeling."

The song's music video is a sultry ride through Paris, France in a Mercedes-Benz 1964 Pullman 600 as well as a dance party in a night club. "Well I wanted it to be different than 'Come and Get It' in the slightest way. I think 'Come & Get It' was more of that sensual vibe and is very beautiful and 'Slow Down's a little bit harder, so we kind of went for more darker themes. And it was fun. The dancing was great and we got to shoot it in Paris, so that was amazing and unbelievable," Selena told MTV News. "It was a good experience."
